Quotes
Public quotes help payers understand a conversion. They are not settlement promises and do not automatically include provider fees.

This response is illustrative. The endpoint retrieves real data when called.
Fallback and validity
The service tries Coinbase, Binance, then CoinGecko. Each source has a timeout; failures move to the next. Quotes are cached for 30 seconds and concurrent requests share a fetch. Expired cached prices are not silently returned.
If every source fails, the API returns 503 QUOTE_UNAVAILABLE. Checkout shows unavailability and supports refresh. Cache validity does not imply the source publishes a new trade every 30 seconds.
Financial decisions
priceBrl is a decimal string. Use decimal arithmetic on your backend. Displaying a quote never authorizes a balance credit; settled value must come from verified provider confirmation when live operation is enabled.
